Jank Crazy Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Fallon smiled at how nicely Bobby was dressed as he stood at door of her two-bedroom apartment. They walked down the stairs and Fallon smiled again.  She looked around the parking lot and saw the FedEx box truck parked in the back of the lot.

Fallon said, “You know that we don’t have to go out or anything.  We can get right to it.  Seems like you have enough room in your truck as a matter of fact.”

Bobby looked Fallon in her eyes and realized that she was serious.  He put his hand on his chest dramatically and said, “Whoa whoa whoa.  What kind of guy do you think I am?”

Fallon raised an eyebrow and said, “The kinda guy that can’t afford a car, so he goes on date in his company truck.”

Bobby laughed a little and said, “Well, I can afford a vehicle.  I just haven’t found the one I want yet.”

“Whatever, I’m just letting you know that you don’t have to spend any extra money to hit.  I’m here for the same reason you are.”

“Aye boo, you ain’t got no diseases or nothing do you?”

“Do you?”

“Nah, I don’t.”

“Why the hell you ask me that?”

“Honestly you seem mad easy that’s all.”

Fallon nodded her head slowly, “I see, so it makes a difference in my medical records if I let you take me on a few dates before we have sex, right?”

Bobby pressed his lips together and folded his arms.  He tilted his head and said, “Hmph, you really make a good point.”

“Jank crazy how guys act when they meet a woman that thinks like they do.”

Bobby gently grabbed both sides of Fallon’s face, looked her straight in her eyes and said, “I apologize Fallon.”  He gently pressed his lips against hers.  He pecked her lips a few times before he gently used his tongue to instruct her to open her mouth wider.  He let his tongue tickle hers for a while before he softly suckled on her tongue.  He took her breath away with how patient he was as he kissed her.

The freshness of his breath made her heart melt.  Her molten heart seemed to have dripped to her perfect place because she was steaming there at this point.  He placed his hand on her pubic mound and said, “It’s okay baby, I’ll be with you soon.  We must get something to eat first.

As they ascended to the top of one of the best hotels in the city, Fallon said, “I have to be honest.  I had never been in a restaurant that nice and the food was exquisite.  Also, to this point of my life, I can honestly say that I have never been in hotel this gorgeous.”

Bobby smiled as he held Fallon’s hand watching the numbers of floors light up.  He said, “I promise you there will be many more things that you will experience that you never have before.”

“Oh, I believe you because I forgot to mention that I have never been kissed like that before either.”

“I see that you don’t play games huh Fallon.  I mean you don’t try to front like stuff doesn’t phase you.  I like that about you.”

I just try to keep it real for myself and those around me.”

“I actually love that.  Since we keeping it real.  I can’t really afford any of the stuff we’ve done tonight.  I just really felt like you deserved to feel what an amazing night feels like.”  Bobby leaned down and kissed her lips softly, looked her square in the eyes and said, “Hard or soft?”

Fallon smirked as she thought of all the guys she had previously been with and how there was an itch that hadn’t been scratched, there was a place in her that had not been touched.  She said, “Hard.”

Bobby ripped her blouse off including her bra just as the elevator doors opened to the penthouse.  She gasped as her breast bounced from the force he created to rip her clothes completely off of her body.

He picked her up and placed her legs on his shoulders.  He inhaled her scent and his excitement grew stronger.

Bobby walked her deeper into the room and tossed her on the plush king-sized bed.  He pulled his pants down as she focused on him.  She smiled and said to herself with glee, “This will be a long hard night.”

Jank Crazy Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Bobby reached out and opened the back door of Fallon’s SUV, ducked his head down as he reached into her backseat.  His cologne filled up the truck’s cabin, Fallon smiled softly.

He slid his powerful hands under Danisha’s back and behind her knees and lifted her out of the truck.  Danisha recognized who he was and wrapped her arms around his neck.  Bobby smiled and walked past the wheelchair he rolled out for her and carried Danisha into the hospital.

Fallon watched her daughter get carried into the back past all of the other’s waiting.  Children in Danisha’s condition never had to wait.  Her daughter not waiting isn’t what caused her to rest her head on the steering wheel.

Tears of relief fell from her eyes because just for a few minutes she didn’t have to do everything.  Tears fell from her eyes because for a few minutes someone else picked her baby up and carried her.  Tears fell from her eyes because for the first time her daughter had someone with her as she parked the truck.

Fallon lifted her head from the steering wheel and closed her eyes again as she hit ignore on her truck’s screen to this Scott dude calling yet again.

~~

“I love your hair little lady.  Does your mommy do your hair, or do you go to one of those fancy salons?”

Danisha looked the man up and down before she answered.  The man chuckled at this little girl’s poise and watched her say, “My mommy doesn’t know how to do my hair.  I go to a hairdresser.  What’s your name Mr. question man?”

Fallon turned around from her phone call as she sat in the food court of the mall and saw a handsome man in a FedEx uniform kneeling down and speaking to her daughter.

“Hey Sabrina, let me call you right back.  I may have a fish on the line.”

A deep chuckle came from the man as he put his hand on his chest before he extended it towards Danisha and said, “Where are my manners.  My name is Robert.”  He stood from his kneeling position to a 6 foot 2 inches tall and extended his hand toward Fallon and continued, “But my friends call me Bobby.”

Bobby was impressed with Fallon’s smile.  Her teeth weren’t perfect, but they sat perfectly in her mouth.

Her lips made her lipstick look expensive.  She wasn’t exactly fit like the women he normally was attracted to, but she was in amazing proportion.  Standing about 5 foot 6 she had a little belly, but he thought it was cute on her.

Her mocha complexion didn’t hide the times she didn’t wait for acne to run it’s course, yet her skin still looked smooth and hydrated.  She smelled like peace and although she wore an H and R Block polo, the way she dressed her daughter, the accessories she wore, and the hills she had on told him that she had tons of style.

Fallon laid her hand into his and said, “Nice to meet you Robert.”  Bobby smiled and said, “The pleasure is all mine.”

“Mr. Robert.”  Bobby looked down at Danisha and said, “Yes ma’am?”

“My mommy is looking for a boyfriend.”

Bobby smiled as he said, “Well I’m not looking for a girlfriend.  I only need friends right now.”

Fallon smiled and said, “My daughter thinks I’m looking for a boyfriend but I’m looking for exactly what you are looking for.”  Fallon tilted her head to the side, raised her eyebrows and said, “What’s up?”

Jank Crazy Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Fallon looked back at her back seat to see her daughter balled up in the fetal position.

“Dani girl aren’t you tired of this.  Do you like being in this type of pain?”

“Ugggghhhh.”

Fallon just shook her head and although she was frustrated, she still hated to see her baby in so much pain.  She could tell that her daughter hadn’t been taking her long acting insulin.  There was one type of insulin that she took throughout the day and there was one she only had to take one time around the same time each and every day.

The long acting one kept them out of the hospital regardless of how reckless her daughter was with not taking the other insulin.

Fallon looked in the rearview mirror eventhough she couldn’t see her daughter and said, “No matter how tired I am of the attitude you get when I ask if you have taken your medicine.  I have to go to the next level because for some reason you think it’s alright to lie to me when I ask you.

From now on, you at least taking the long acting one in front of me.  Do you hear me Dani?”

Danisha responded with her eyes clinched tightly closed and through a grimace, “Ahhhhhghhhh ooo hhhhmmmkay mommy.”

“Do you want these people to take you away from me?  You got me looking like I don’t take care of you.  I hope you took a bath last night and got on some clean underwear.”  Fallon shook her head and rebuked herself for fussing while her daughter was in such pain.

She quickly reminded herself that her daughter was the reason she was in pain and continued, “How many times I got to tell you that girls cannot skip days taking showers and stuff.  You do not want a reputation for smelling musty or fishy.  All them expensive clothes you wear won’t mean anything if everyone is talking about how bad you smell.

I mean how you gonna wear new clothes everyday but have on the same underwear.  I was so embarrassed the last time we were here, and you had on them nasty ass draws.”

Fallon had just recently watched the movie “Unhinged” so when the car in front of her didn’t move when the light turned green, she restrained from honking her horn the way she normally would have.

She sat there just a second longer before the person looked up and realized they had the green light, looked in their rearview mirror and held up their hand as a form of an apology.

Fallon smiled, nodded her head and proceeded to make her right turn and then the left into the parking lot of the hospital.

Fallon said, “As much as you talk about people, you got the nerve not to be taking baths every day.  I know I ain’t perfect, but at least I take baths.”

Fallon looked and saw a four door Porsche illegally parked but didn’t pay it much mind.  She was in fussing mode.  “I work hard to make sure that you have the best life possible, your father don’t care.  I don’t mean to talk about him but let’s be real.  He hasn’t been around for the last ten years.  I refuse to beg him to be in your life and you don’t want to call him either.  I get that but everything falls on me.  I’m just asking you to do what you are supposed to do girl!

I mean damn.  I think I messed you up making sure your life was better than mine.  I feel like I have given you too much.  You don’t wash dishes or keep your room clean like you supposed to.  I just don’t know where I went wrong with you Dani.”

Fallon looked at the screen in her Escalade and saw “Incoming Call from Scott Marshall”

She bent her eyebrows downward and hit ignore.  “I know goodness well he heard me tell him that I would call him back,” she whispered to herself.

“Now Dani baby mama loves you, but you have to do better.  Do you want to die?”

Danisha said, “No ma’am” through a groan.

Fallon squinted her eyes at the man that stood at the curb with the wheelchair.  She looked back at the Porsche and smiled.  “What is Bobby doing here?”

Jank Crazy Chapter 1

The little boy with the red hair couldn’t have been more than three years old.  He didn’t have on a mask which made him stand out amongst all of all of the other children that sat or stood around the Children’s of the King’s Daughter’s Urgent Care waiting room.

Fallon sat patiently with Danisha.  Fallon couldn’t do anything to stop the little red head boy from wiping the neon green stuff that slid from his nose onto her pant leg.  She grimaced as she looked around trying to figure out which of the adults in the room were his parent.

Fallon gently grabbed the little boy’s shoulders to stand him straight up from wiping his face on her pants.

Danisha looked down and said, “Ewwww mama, that jank crazy!  Where is his mama.  He need a mask with his little nasty nose self!”

Fallon’s anger and disgust dissipated as her daughter doused her with embarrassment.  Her daughter always said her thoughts out loud.  Fallon first wanted to laugh, but she suppressed her laughter as she felt sorry for the little boy.

Fallon said, “Dani, chill out.  I wish you would have used that mouth of yours to tell me that you were on your last insulin pen and we wouldn’t be here, and this little boy wouldn’t have been able to rub this radioactive slime on my leg.”

Danisha laughed out loud at the combination of what her mother said, how she was holding the little boy at arm’s length away from her, and how the little boy was now licking his tongue out  curving it above his lip to taste the green stuff.

Danisha laughed so hard, she was crying real tears as her mother said, “Ummm, who’s little boy is this?”

~~

Fallon’s assistant, Sabrina was almost on the floor as she heard the story about her boss’s trip to the urgent care.

Sabrina said, “Ms. Rae, that Dani is something else though.  She is really the funniest person I know.”

Thinking of her daughter, Fallon couldn’t help but smile and chuckle a little.  “You know, no matter how mad that girl makes me, I love her to death.”

“I can’t believe that the pharmacy wouldn’t give you anymore insulin for her though.”

“I can.  That girl run through them pens like her mind is going bad.  She eat all crazy, and drink orange juice all day long and try to take the insulin as if it’s gonna save the day.  The girl blood sugar stay in the 400’s.”

“What?!”

“Yes girl.  She always tells me that she just wants to be normal.  I got to ask her all throughout the day if she has checked her sugar.  I found out last year that she be lying and everything.  The girl be making up numbers and stuff.  She would say, “Yes ma’am I checked it.  I’m 245.  Mind you she supposed to be between 80 and 150.”

“So why would she say 245?”

“Because she knows I wouldn’t believe that she was in proper range.  I just used to say Okay, that isn’t that bad, just take your insulin to get in range okay?  She would then say, “Yes ma’am.”

“Ms. Rae, how did you find out Dani was lying.”

Fallon shook her head as she said, “We would go to the doctor and they would put her meter she uses to check her sugar on the machine and discover that she had gone days at a time without even checking her blood sugar.

So I had to make her check in front of me every time for a long while.  I called myself trusting her.  I allowed her to manage it on her own for a while.  She ran out of insulin for the second time this month which landed us in the Urgent Care with little snotty face.”

Sabrina laughed out loud.  Fallon looked down at her phone in her hand and said, “Excuse me Sabrina.”  She turned and walked into her plush corner office that gave her view of the whole downtown, put her phone to her ear and said,   “Fallon Rae.”

“Yes, Ms. Rae, my name is Scott and I am reaching out to you because my colleagues tell me that you are the best.”

Fallon smiled as she heard her phone beep.  She looked at her office door as she heard her intercom on her desk beep before she heard Sabrina patch herself through, “Ms. Rae, Mr. Bobby is on the line, do you wish to speak to him right now.  He sounds extra fine today.”

“He wants to go out tonight, Hold on Sabrina.”  Fallon looked back at her phone and told Scott to hold for a second.  “Hello, Fallon Rae speaking.”

“Hello Ms. Rae, this is Jenna McMillon and I am the school nurse at Pembroke Middle School.  Danisha is laying down right now because her blood sugar was over 500, her breathing is different, so I reached out to her primary care physician and she wants Danisha to go to the emergency room.  Are you able to come pick her up now?”

“I’m on the way.” She clicked over and said, “Scott, let me get back with you.”   Fallon grabbed her bag and walked past Sabrina and said, “Tell Bobby that I will talk to him later. Cancel the rest of my meetings for the day.  Dani is sick again.”

Fallon rode the elevator down to the garage as she shook her head slowly, pressed her fingers into her temples and said to herself, “This jank crazy. . .”
